Roine, Timber Rattlers Finish Off Bees, 2-1
|
Wisconsin got an elite performance from starting pitcher Tuomi Roine in securing a 2-1 decision over the Burlington Bees. Wisconsin has run its win streak to 6 consecutive.
Roine, the winner, is now 3-1, after putting the clamps on the Burlington offense. In 9 innings of work, he gave up 1 run on 3 hits, while collecting 5 Ks.
"Tuomi is tough to beat when he's hitting his spots," said Wisconsin manager Geghetsik Kazaryan.
