Rolin Tosses No-Hitter Against Great Lakes
It was a fantastic day for Lake County Captains starter Matt Rolin and a lousy day for the Great Lakes Loons.

The Lake County hurler's pitching artistry completely befuddled and bewildered the Loons, as the Captains cruised to a 8-0 win. When it was all over, Rolin was credited with one of the rarer feats in baseball -- a no-hitter.

"The ball was moving and darting, and best of all, going where I wanted it to go," Rolin said later.

He rang up 8 strikeouts and allowed 1 walk while shutting Great Lakes down at Dow Diamond.

This year, Rolin has posted a record of 6 wins and 5 losses with a 2.95 ERA. He has appeared in 20 games and struck out 120 in 113 innings.
