Satern Deals Quad Cities 3-0 Setback
|
Beloit took on Quad Cities in a contest which featured a pitchers' duel. Justin Satern, in particular, was fantastic. The Beloit right-hander helped his team snag the win, 3-0. After today's action, Beloit sits at 42-72; Quad Cities slips to 52-62.
Satern, a native of Goshen, Indiana, was dealing all game. He kept Quad Cities hitters off-balance, while giving the Snappers 7.1 quality innings. Satern threw 91 pitches, allowing 2 hits and striking out 5.
