Quad Cities right-hander David Tucker pitched his team to victory over the Peoria Chiefs at Dozer Park. The final score was 3-1. Tucker, now 3-2, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 7, walking 3, and allowing 1 run.

Jesus Espinoza was 1-2 with a triple and a walk for Quad Cities. With two out and the game tied in the top of the sixth inning, Espinoza had a clutch at-bat. Facing Peoria hurler Carlos Blanco, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run to give the River Bandits a 2-1 lead.
