Walmsley Sensational for TinCaps
|
The Fort Wayne TinCaps defeated the Lake County Captains, 3-1, in Midwest League action at Classic Park. Fort Wayne pitcher Earl Walmsley had a standout performance. Phil Barbara earned the save for Fort Wayne, his 15th of the year. At 75-42, the TinCaps claim third place in the Eastern Division.
Walmsley scattered 4 hits over 8.1 innings for the TinCaps. With the win, Walmsley moves to 7-5 on the year with 101 strikeouts.
