Clinton turned a good performance from starting pitcher Tommy Houston into a 3-2 triumph over the Burlington Bees in 10 innings at Community Field. Clinton reliever Adam Fanning picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Dennis Borrello was saddled with the loss. With the win over Burlington, the LumberKings improved to 47-70.

The most important at-bat for Clinton came in the top of the tenth inning, when third baseman Steve Foster stroked a 2-1 cutter to right for a run-scoring single, putting Clinton up, 3-2.
