Snappers Take Tight Tangle
In a low-scoring contest between the Beloit Snappers and the Quad Cities River Bandits, 21-year old right-handed pitcher Jose Blanco proved to be the difference. The Beloit right-hander earned props for his performance in the 2-1 Snappers win. The Snappers now have a record of 41-76.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Beloit. That's when Raul Medina hit a run-scoring double off 24-year old right-handed pitcher Elias Placencia to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"Put a star next to this win," Medina said.
