Bowling Green Rallies for 3-2 Victory
The Hot Rods grabbed a win, 3-2, at Bowling Green Ballpark, overcoming a fine effort from West Michigan pitcher Dan Hayes. Hayes went 6.2 innings and allowed no runs. Bowling Green reliever John Cozad picked up the win to move to 3-0. Edward McLaughlin suffered the loss. The 7th-place Hot Rods improved to 50-68.

Scott MacBean was the walk-off hero for Bowling Green. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Hot Rods catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Great to get the crowd on its feet," MacBean said.
