Paul Higgins was a major factor in the 7-4 Fort Wayne win over Dayton. The TinCaps catcher went 2-4 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Jorge Munoz earned the win, while 27-year old right-handed pitcher Brian Scalfaro took the loss for Dayton. Robbie Castro earned the save for Fort Wayne, his 14th of the year.
