Chiefs Deal Quad Cities 4-2 Defeat
|
Peoria pitcher Ray Blasetti had a large part in his team subduing the Quad Cities River Bandits, 4-2. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the left-hander. In 8.1 innings, Blasetti surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 0. He allowed 2 runs. Alex Casillas converted his 8th save in 10 tries.
