IL's Top Player, Grado of Toledo Monday, June 2nd , 2110 24-year-old Miguel Grado made a few Toledo headlines during this past week as the rookie left fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and International League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 7 hits in 9 at-bats to put up a .778 average. Grado collected 1 home run, 6 RBIs and scored 3 runs. For the year, Grado is hitting .307 with 2 home runs.
