Columbus-Toledo Brawl, Walko and Ramirez Suspended
Thursday, June 26th , 2098
John Walko of the Columbus Clippers and Carlos Ramirez of the Toledo Mud Hens will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 9 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Clippers-Mud Hens game at Huntington Park.

Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Walko and Ramirez will begin serving them soon.

This year Walko has socked 63 hits in 258 at-bats for a .244 average with 1 home run. He is getting on base at a .328 pace and his totals also include 18 RBIs and 44 runs scored.

This season Ramirez has worked 92.2 innings with 97 strikeouts en route to a 5-7 record and a 4.18 ERA.
