Penn Stops Lehigh Valley Thursday, July 25th , 2115 Louisville's Roger (Eben) Penn brought his best stuff to Louisville Slugger Field, shutting down and shutting out the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, 6-0. He racked up 8 strikeouts, surrendered 5 hits, and issued 2 walks on his way to the victory. "We barely made him work at all," Lehigh Valley manager Jeff Elgin said later. "Louisville could probably pitch him again tomorrow if they wanted." To date this season, Penn sports a 5-1 mark with a 1.72 ERA in 8 starting assignments.
