Jackson Wins Best IL Pitcher Saturday, June 1st, 2058 Over the past month Mark Jackson has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the International League. He proved all that and now he's been named May's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Gwinnett Braves posted 5-1 mark and a 0.87 ERA. In 5 starts he tossed 31 innings, permitted 11 hits and fanned 28 batters. In season stats Jackson shows a 5-2 record in 17 games, 45.1 innings, 39 strikeouts and a 3.18 ERA. |
