IL Top Batter Trophy Won by Gonzalez Saturday, August 1st , 2111 Ricky Gonzalez, the Indianapolis right fielder, certainly made a name for himself this past month. He banged out a .270 batting average with 27 hits, 11 home runs, 25 RBIs and scored 22 times. That kind of hitting earned him the International League Batter of the Month honors for July. Gonzalez is currently batting .203 with 21 home runs and 51 RBIs. |
