International League Premier Pitcher is Richeson Friday, August 1st , 2110 Toledo's Phil Richeson hated to see July end. It was one of the single greatest months the reliever has posted, and the 28-year-old reliever did so well that he garnered enough votes for the International League Pitcher of the Month trophy. Richeson held the opposition to a .250 batting average in 15 relief appearances. He worked 29.1 innings, collected 5 saves, sat down 26 on strikes and posted a 4-3 record and a 3.38 ERA. To date, Richeson has collected 14 saves in 54 relief appearances. He has rung up 91 strikeouts and 28 walks in 92.2 innings while registering a 2.43 ERA and a 12-9 won-lost record. |
