And now there is no hope of turning a dismal season around -- the team was officially knocked out of playoff contention today. Lehigh Valley last appeared in the postseason in 2080. This is their 18th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 71 times in their 83-year history.
