Figueroa Crafts 3-0 Shutout Saturday, August 16th , 2098 Jason Figueroa shut out the Durham Bulls 3-0 on a 4-hit masterpiece for the Toledo Mud Hens at Durham Bulls Athletic Park today. "He was kind of teasing them with his off-speed stuff, and his fastball was moving everywhere," Toledo skipper Mike Sizemore said afterward. Figueroa registered 5 strikeouts and issued 2 walks in pitching a gem. "We just didn't swing the bats very well. Or else he just pitched good, whichever way you want to look at it," said Durham manager Chris Southerland after the defeat. This season Figueroa has compiled a 7-7 record with a 3.85 ERA.
