IL Player of the Week Selected Monday, August 18th , 2110 The baseball must have looked as big as a balloon to Gilberto Frausto of Charlotte last week. The third baseman had quite a 6-game stretch and today he was named the International League Player of the Week. Frausto delivered 11 hits in 23 at-bats to hit .478 with 1 home run and 7 RBIs. Thus far this year, Frausto is hitting .332 with 4 home runs, 38 RBIs and 36 runs scored. |
