IL's Best Batter Selected Monday, September 1st , 2110 Danny Gonzalez made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the International League this past month. The Scranton WB RailRiders first baseman shined through the month of August and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 23-year-old hit .376 with 7 home runs, 25 RBIs and 24 runs scored. Gonzalez is batting at a .326 pace this season, picking up 136 hits in 417 at-bats with 15 home runs, 63 RBIs and 68 runs scored. |
