Louisville Season Won't Continue in Playoffs Thursday, September 4th , 2110 It's now time for the Louisville Bats to start turning their attention to what can be done to help improve the club for next season. The team was formally eliminated from playoff contention today for the 2110 season. "We knew a title was a long shot at this point, but mentally there's a big difference between a tiny chance and no chance at all," said Bats starting pitcher Aaron Rosenkranz. Before this season, the Bats last missed the playoffs in 2102. In the 95 years they have been a International League franchise, they have made the playoffs 38 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Bats have made the playoffs 7 times. Louisville last won the Round 2 in 2103. |
