The Syracuse Chiefs will continue their playoff march, after a 3-1 Round 1 victory over the Rochester Red Wings.
The series wrapped up at NBT Bank Stadium with a 7-2 win, propelling Syracuse to the Round 2.
Series MVP Pete Pritchett called it a "total team effort" by his club.
The Syracuse Chiefs will play against the Columbus Clippers in the next round. Columbus won their series against the Norfolk Tides 3 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
