Bad News for Carey and Syracuse Friday, September 19th , 2098 Ryan Carey, left fielder for the Syracuse Chiefs, was making great progress in healing a strained posterior cruciate ligament according to a team spokesman, but suffered a setback yesterday. "Ryan was doing great in his rehab until he overdid it in a recent workout. Now doctors say it will be at least one week before he will be able to rejoin the club." So far on the season Carey is hitting .265 with 24 home runs, 81 RBIs and 60 runs scored. He has 113 hits and played in 119 games. |
