Valdez Blisters Lehigh Valley Friday, June 11th, 2055 5 times is the charm -- at least for Benito Valdez. The Buffalo Bisons center fielder tore up the Lehigh Valley IronPigs to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Coca-Cola Park today. The offensive onslaught from Valdez powered the Bisons to a 4-3 win. "Valdez was a tough out today," Lehigh Valley manager Roberto Medina said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Benito Valdez doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, tripled in the 5th, hit a two-run triple in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
