Filippone Muzzles New Orleans Bats Monday, June 5th , 2113 Dan Filippone was in a mood to talk following the Memphis Redbirds contest against the New Orleans Zephyrs, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Zephyrs, 4-0. "There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Filippone said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again." The right-hander blanked New Orleans on a 3-hitter, allowing 1 walk and racking up 11 strikeouts.
