Starnes and Spadoni Brawl, League Suspends Them Thursday, June 15th , 2113 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Fresno-Las Vegas contest at Cashman Field. The Grizzlies Tommy Starnes and the 51s Wayne Spadoni will have to sit out 5 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. So far this season, Starnes is hitting .240 with 4 home runs, 11 RBIs and 19 runs scored. He has 25 hits in 104 at-bats and a .319 OBP. In 14 starts this season, Spadoni has crafted a 5-5 record with a 5.69 ERA. |
