Chihuahuas Emanuele Delmonico Down and Out for Year Thursday, June 14th , 2108 Emanuele Delmonico will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the El Paso reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Delmonico was injured while throwing a pitch in the Chihuahuas-Bees clash at Smith's Ballpark recently. Doctors said he has a torn labrum and would be out a minimum of 8 months. To date in the season, Delmonico is 1-9 with 10 relief appearances and no saves. He has held opposing batters to a .291 average, pitched 66.2 innings, struck out 48 and walked 18 while recording a 5.40 ERA. |
