Alva Sparkles in 7-0 Shutout Friday, June 29th , 2108 Dave Alva of the Omaha Storm Chasers toyed with the Nashville Sounds, as he shut them out, 7-0, at Herschel Greer Stadium. He was almost untouchable, twirling a 3-hitter with 11 strikeouts and no walks. "I'm sweating now because it's hot in here," Alva said in the clubhouse after the game.
