PC Announces Outstanding Batter Award Friday, June 1st , 2114 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 25 Phil DePuydt has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Albuquerque Isotopes star can enjoy the numbers he put up in May, which have garnered him the nod as the Pacific Conference Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .343 average with 6 home runs, 27 RBIs and 19 runs scored. This year, DePuydt has hit at a .333 pace and produced 36 RBIs, 6 home runs and scored 28 runs. |
