"He was too darn good for us today," grumbled Las Vegas manager Wilfri Aleton after the 1-0 loss to the Nashville Sounds. Rasmussen finished with 5 strikeouts and 1 walk in a strong outing. In the postgame press conference, Nashville manager Nick Hite said Rasmussen "had good velocity, good movement and had those guys off balance. He just pitched his butt off."
