Robinson Rips Iowa for 5 Hits

Omaha left fielder Rusty Robinson had a day to remember, 5-for-6 against the Iowa Cubs at Principal Park as the Storm Chasers picked up a win, 21-7.
"He was patient up there," Omaha skipper Willie Elizondo told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Robinson has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes."
Rusty Robinson walked in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, flied out in the 6th, singled in the 8th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 9th.
Looking at his season stats, Robinson has compiled a .329 batting average and a .411 on-base percentage, while hitting 9 home runs and driving in 39 runs.
