Quintero Takes Charge, Blanks Iowa, 4-0 Thursday, June 28th , 2114 In a remarkable performance, Round Rock Express starter Alejandro Quintero beat the Iowa Cubs, 4-0, in an impressive 5-hit shutout. "My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this." The Express hurler finished with 7 strikeouts and no walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball. "It was a rough one for my guys," Iowa manager Diego Perez said, following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was."
