League Suspends VanAsselberg and Hof for Brawl Tuesday, August 12th , 2098 Andy VanAsselberg of Sacramento and Nick Hof of New Orleans were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. VanAsselberg will have to miss 3 games for his part in the brawl, while Hof was given 6 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. This year VanAsselberg is hitting .223 with 21 home runs. This season Hof has a 3-1 record with a 2.43 ERA in 5 starts. |
