Ruiz Hits in 25 Consecutive Games Wednesday, August 22nd , 2108 Francisco Ruiz of the Albuquerque Isotopes tagged 1 hit in today's 11-5 loss to the El Paso Chihuahuas at Isotopes Park to run his hitting streak to 25 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 25-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Francisco Ruiz grounded out in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. This year, Ruiz has hit at a .350 clip with 154 hits, 18 home runs, 64 RBIs and 106 runs scored. |
