Rodriguez Crafts 5-0 Shutout Tuesday, August 19th , 2098 Mario Rodriguez shut out the New Orleans Zephyrs 5-0 on a 2-hit masterpiece for the Nashville Sounds at Zephyr Field today. "He was kind of teasing them with his off-speed stuff, and his fastball was moving everywhere," Nashville skipper Nick Hite said afterward. Rodriguez registered 2 strikeouts and issued 1 walk in pitching a gem. "We just didn't swing the bats very well. Or else he just pitched good, whichever way you want to look at it," said New Orleans manager Pat Katz after the defeat.
