Week's Premier Player: Salt Lake's Yasunaga
Monday, August 25th , 2110
Few players his age are still in the league, but Sho Yasunaga of the Salt Lake Bees clearly loves the game and clearly he can still get the job done. Last week the 37-year-old first baseman hit the ball with the consistency of someone ten years younger, which made Yasunaga a popular and well-deserved selection as Pacific Conference Player of the Week.

He paced the Bees attack by putting up a .476 batting average, 10 hits in 21 at-bats, 13 RBIs and 5 home runs. Yasunaga also scored 6 runs.

This year, Yasunaga is hitting .264 with 13 home runs and 41 RBIs in 53 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .359 with 27 walks and 32 runs scored.
