League Takes Action, Bracken Suspended Saturday, August 23rd , 2098 Steve Bracken was suspended for 3 games by the commissioner's office today after he was ejected in the Fresno-Sacramento yesterday at Raley Field for arguing a called third strike. "I was disciplined for making contact with an umpire and spraying him," the Grizzlies third baseman told BNN. "I guess I used too many words with Ps and Ss." Currently Bracken is batting .271 with 67 hits and 3 home runs. He has knocked in 24 runs and scored 31 times. |
