Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Thomas Sunday, August 24th , 2098 Cubs center fielder Stuart Thomas has extended his hitting streak to 20 games. He went 2-for-4 in today's game against the Colorado Springs Sky Sox. Iowa won the ballgame 4-3. "Got a hit and a win," he said later. "OK, I'll take it." Stuart Thomas flied out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 5th and grounded out in the 8th. Batting .344 to date, Thomas has 4 home runs and 31 RBIs. |
