August's Best Batter Announced Monday, September 1st , 2098 For a rookie just breaking in, Hector Gonzales certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the PC Batter of the Month award for August. The 23-year-old second baseman for the Albuquerque Isotopes hit .438 with 2 home runs, 17 RBIs and 21 runs scored. Currently Gonzales is batting .416 with 62 hits and 2 home runs. He has knocked in 22 runs and scored 31 times. |
