New Orleans Season Won't Continue in Playoffs Sunday, September 14th , 2110 It's a "gut-wrenching feeling," New Orleans Zephyrs starting pitcher Perry Stoll said, for the team to have gotten so close to a playoff berth, only to be eliminated in the waning days of the season. The club was officially eliminated from the postseason chase today. This is the club's 4th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2106. In total, the Zephyrs have missed the playoffs 89 times in their 95-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Zephyrs have only made the playoffs once. |
