They failed to score a single run against him, losing, 4-0. Oklahoma City managed only 3 hits off Pineda, who had 8 strikeouts. The extraordinarily popular Pineda got a standing ovation from the hometown crowd as he left the field, the applause continuing until he returned from the dugout to tip his cap to the crowd.
