Tacoma's Tony Walsh Injured Tuesday, September 16th , 2110 Tony Walsh is doubtful to make the playoffs this year, according to sources within the Tacoma organization. Although the injury was initially thought to be not serious, tests have revealed the player will be out up to 8-9 months with a torn labrum. The 29-year-old closer suffered the injury throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Albuquerque Isotopes. Thus far this year, Walsh has picked up 2 saves. He has also compiled a 4-2 won-lost mark with a 4.33 ERA and in 35.1 innings fanned 31. |
