American Conference Names Lenz Best Batter Monday, September 9th , 2097 There was no one hotter in the American Conference last week as Ron Lenz attacked enemy pitching with a vengeance to collect the Player of the Week Award. The 22-year-old Colorado Springs right fielder batted .448 with 13 hits in 29 at-bats, 5 home runs and 9 RBIs. So far on the season Lenz is hitting .221 with 7 home runs, 14 RBIs and 19 runs scored. He has 21 hits and played in 26 games. |
