Webb Wins Award for PC Dominance

Nick Webb came out of the bullpen and worked through tough situations all year, and for his performance he's been named the recipient of the Pacific Conference Reliever of the Year for 2098.

The 26-year-old out of Kinston, North Carolina captured the award with 18 saves in 63 relief appearances, 119 strikeouts in 105.1 innings and a record of 5 wins and 11 losses to go with his 2.65 ERA.

"I'm thankful, it's a great honor," he told Baseball News Network.

He received 16 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. John Quinonez of the Sacramento River Cats finished second in voting, while Chris Alexander of the Albuquerque Isotopes finished third.
