Ryan Collier Chosen AC's #1 Player
Saturday, October 12th , 2097
At the age of 24, Ryan Collier of the Memphis Redbirds could very well have his best years ahead of him.

It's a startling thought when you consider the year he had in 2097 was good enough to win the first baseman the American Conference Most Valuable Player Award.

"See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "That's my basic approach."

The top hitter put up a .312 batting average this year, as well as a .397 on-base percentage. He played 134 games and racked up 162 hits, 35 doubles, no triples, 30 home runs, 100 RBIs and 104 runs scored.

He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 16. Joe Hardie of the Colorado Springs Sky Sox finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while Tim Cooke of the Oklahoma City Dodgers finished third with 2 first place votes.
