King Thwarts Reading, 3-0 Monday, May 5th , 2110 In a remarkable performance, Richmond Flying Squirrels starter Tim King beat the Reading Fightin Phils, 3-0, in an impressive 2-hit shutout. "My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this." The Flying Squirrels hurler finished with 6 strikeouts and 2 walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball. "It was a rough one for my guys," Reading manager Daniel Rapp said, following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was."
