Rine Snares EL Top Batter Award in May Sunday, June 1st , 2110 At only 22 years of age, Brett Rine could very well have many more months like this last one during his career. That would be great news for fans of the Harrisburg Senators, as May was one to remember for the third baseman and he has captured the Eastern League Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .264 with 7 home runs, 18 RBIs and 22 runs scored. For the season, Rine is currently batting .266 with 7 home runs and 20 RBIs. In 32 games he has reached base at a .347 rate and scored 26 runs to date. |
