Friday, June 20th , 2110
Bonifacio Guita has to call it a season. The Erie SeaWolves reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Hartford Yard Goats and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Guita was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a ruptured finger tendon and stated that he would not be able to play for 4 months.

Taking a look at his season, Guita has made 13 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 3-0 won-lost mark and a 6.62 ERA. In pitching 35.1 innings, he has totaled 29 strikeouts and 10 walks.
