EL Announces Best Batter Award Friday, August 1st , 2098 Chris Baker may be much younger than other hitters in the Eastern League, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in July to win the Batter of the Month award. The 23-year-old Portland right fielder hit .310 with 7 home runs, 23 RBIs and 15 runs scored. This season Baker is batting .242 with 13 home runs. His totals include 50 RBIs and 41 runs scored. |
