Erie Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Saturday, August 16th , 2098 The Erie SeaWolves were certainly not a team of destiny this year and now they have been eliminated from playoff contention. "We thought we had a better chance than this," said catcher Joe Markwood. "It's a big disappointment." Erie last appeared in the postseason in 2095. This is their 3rd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 65 times in their 83-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the SeaWolves have missed the playoffs 7 times. Erie has won the Round 1 8 times in their history. |
